I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy in Oct 2011
Interview
A week after I applied I received a call to come in for an interview with one of the managers. They ran about 45 minutes behind just so you know not to schedule anything right after. The manager read from the interviewing manual and took notes, an overall positive vibe. They stated that they really wanted me to interview with their boss and I would get a call later that day or the next day to schedule me for an interview with the store manager. I didn't get that call until two days later. When I went into schedule with the store manager they were running behind about an hour. The store manager also gave me questions right from the interviewing manual and basically said that as long as one has a good personality they'll hire them. At the end of the interview she gave me the job offer and said I had two days to complete my drug test and that they'd get back to me once they got the results. Just as a note, Best Buy has a habit of waiting 10 days after your drug test to call you back so don't freak out.

Question 1
How would you describe a time you went 'above and beyond'?
it was a typical process. go to job application, upload details, answer some questions, then was called in for in person interview. pretty laid back. the manager seemed to backfill the role.
Very challenging but fair. The interview was very quick. I felt that it was very thorough and asked good quest about customer service, I liked the atmosphere and think it would be a good opportunity.
Easy interview process, asked simple questions and allowed me to fully answer them. Asked direct questions that pertained to the line of work and how things would be handled from my point of view
