I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy (Dayton, OH) in Nov 2010
Interview
I hate computer personality assessments. I think they take away from the experience of truly getting to know a person and to see if they are right for the job. I don't think making sure you get a few keywords right is the best way to go about it.
I did appreciate that the job I was applying for was filled, they because of how I presented myself in the interview, they found a position on the sales floor for me to fill.
I applied online. I interviewed at Best Buy (Ottawa, ON) in Jan 2023
Interview
They ask some classic questions. Such as: what was the last time you solve a problem? Or stuffs like: why should we hire you? Those old school ones. Why are you applying for this position?
The interviewer was very friendly and very positive. It maintained the environment very friendly allowing me to relax and be myself. Would definitely try again with best buy in the future.

Interview
The interview process is simple, but a bit rigid. Questions can feel like they don't apply to the position at times and can feel a bit unnecessary for an entry level position.
