Straight forward virtual interview over Zoom. It was friendly, and interviewed with Property Manager and APM. Both managers were pleasant to interview with, and were very engaging. It took less than 25 mins for the entire proccess.
- Tell me a time where you were able to confront a difficult situation and how were you able to resolve it" ?

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Bozzuto (Washington, DC) in Jan 2023
The interview process was simple. I applied for The Leasing Manager position. One week later, I received an email stating the position was given to an internal candidate. But, they're inviting me to apply for The Sales and Marketing Associate(Leasing Consultant) position. I submitted an application within minutes. The next day, I received an email asking me what my availability was for an interview. I responded. The day after that I received an email from The Property Manager, with a date and time slot for an interview. Because it was the Christmas and New Year Holiday, my interview date was a week later. On the day of the interview, I interviewed with The Property Manager and The Assistant Property Manager. It went great! It was like a conversation. They made me feel so comfortable. The next day I was offered the position. I had to provide a minimum of 7 references and do a background check. Everything was successfully completed pretty quickly. The overall experience was great! They're communication is awesome. They don't leave you wondering, what's going to happen next.
- Explain a situation where you handled a situation with a difficult resident.

Anonymous Employee in Baltimore, MD
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bozzuto (Baltimore, MD) in Nov 2022
The entire process took roughly 3 weeks, however it may have been finished sooner had it not been for the holidays. I had three back-to-back Zoom meetings with the property manager, regional manager, and the building's investment leadership over the course of two days. All of the interviews were simple and conversational, and the interviewers appeared genuinely eager in learning about my present role, my prior accomplishments, and how they all related to the job I was applying for. I received the job offer a day after my last interview, which I formally accepted after thinking it over during the weekend. The next step was a background check, followed by a reference check. For the reference check, they require 5-7 contacts, which I believe was a little unnecessary for an entry-level position.

Anonymous Employee in Boston, MA
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bozzuto (Boston, MA)
The interview process was heavily about customer service and not sales. Asked about being a "swiss army knife" because you will be doing multiple different things. Super easy with the general manager and the regional had to approve .
- Give an example of a customer service situation when you went above and beyond.

I applied online. I interviewed at Bozzuto
Straightforward interview involving questions about customer service and social media experience. One of the questions was “what was a time where you praised for something you completed?” They want to know your accomplishments and other achievements.
- What was a time where you were praised for something you completed?

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Chicago, IL
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bozzuto (Chicago, IL)
The process seemed fairly typical for the most part, with exception to their timing on the request for references. They required that about 7-10 references be submitted with answers prior to the actual formal interview even taking place. This was not only misleading but an absurd waste of time for colleagues helping with my job search.
- If a resident were to request a concession or to be let out of their lease due to an issue that occurred, would you agree to their request or refuse the accommodation?

Anonymous Employee in Nashville, TN
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bozzuto (Nashville, TN) in Jan 2022
I received an email around 2 weeks after applying to scheduale for a video interview with a regional manager and the property manager. Both ladies were very personable and very warm & welcoming. I think it was one of the best interviews ive ever had. They are customer-obsessed and take Bozzuto’s core values very seriously. They were also very informative. A week after the interview was when I was offered a position.
- Can you tell us about a time you failed at a professional task and what would you have done differently to get a more successful outcome?

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I interviewed at Bozzuto
Very short and impersonal. Enjoy speaking to your webcam. This was very frustrating and I would not recommend this process. You also do not get to re-record should you live on a busy intersection.
- It was about resident noise complaints.

I interviewed at Bozzuto
Did an initial phone screening with the internship director. Very seamless video interview process with different team members. There was ample time for them to get to know me and for me to ask my questions about company culture, etc.
- Describe a time when you had two conflicting deadlines; how did you manage them?

Anonymous Employee in Baltimore, MD

The entire process took 2 months. pre recorded video interview, phone interview, zoom interview, *hired internally*, another phone interview, another zoom interview, 1 more zoom interview, and finally the job offer
