I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle in Mar 2013
Interview
Applied online and was called in for an interview at a job fair approximately 5 days prior to the date. A mini interview was conducted during the initial telephone conversation. Arrive at location and approximately 10 other potential candidates were also waiting. Intermediate management team of 2 conducted the first step in the interview process. They were warm and welcoming and very vibrant. The second step was interviewing with the GM and RM, who also shared the same level of vibrancy and energy. The conversations flowed easily and the interviewers provided a comfortable atmosphere for sharing.
The question asked were as expected; tell me about your previous work history, why do you want to work for Chipotle?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
The interview process included an application, attending a brief in-person interview, answering questions about teamwork, availability, customer service, and attitude, and was sometimes followed by a same-day or quick hiring decision.
