I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Mineola, NY) in Oct 2013
Interview
The entire process took three and a half days. I filled out the online application on Sunday, a few hours later I got a call asking to come in on Monday. Monday I went in and had a group interview (with one other person) with the service manager. She asked really basic questions (what was I doing now, about my previous work experience, why Chipotle, etc.) and asked us to come back for another interview on Wednesday. On Wednesday I had a one on one interview with two crew members and they asked the same/similar questions. By Wednesday night I got the "Welcome to Chipotle" email and another phone call asking me to come in with two forms of ID.

I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
The interview process included an application, attending a brief in-person interview, answering questions about teamwork, availability, customer service, and attitude, and was sometimes followed by a same-day or quick hiring decision.
