I applied through college or university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Citi (New York, NY) in Jan 2015
Interview
Applied through university and on citibank website, selected for on campus interview.
Interviewer was someone working in that department (not HR), questions asked were more or less expected.
Notified via email about results of interview
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Fit questions (why did you choose finance, why citibank), questions about past classes and internships (My previous internship was somewhat related, so I got some pretty detailed technical questions about what I did), basic finance questions (yield of bond at par = ?), brain teaser like question (If you laid every single person on Earth from head to toe, how many times around the Earth can you go?), and last personality-ish question (say something about yourself that is not reflected on your resume)
1 interview, then openday with 3 interviews. First one quite easy, openday a bit intense with different questions and themes approached. Process lasted more than 2 months, however HR was quite helpful and responsive.

Question 1
Motivation, different types of derivative questions etc.
It was a really good interview process that I really liked and enjoyed doing. The first round was very casual and the questions werent challenging in the slightest. It felt low pressure or stress
They asked a mix of behavioral, technical and market questions. Pretty standard interview, no huge curveballs. There were a few brain teasers and mental math questions, no paper pen allowed.
