I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Comcast (Seattle, WA) in Sep 2017
Interview
I applied through the Comcast careers site. With a week or so I received the first phone screen from the third party recruiter that handles those for Comcast. Shortly after the initial phone call I was set up with a face to face interview with the District Manager, it was brief and he informed me that he was putting me through to a second interview. It was over two week later that I received a second face to face interview with the District Manager, his boss, and an HR representative. This interview was a little more in depth, asking the standard questions. I was told that a decision would be made by the end of the week. This second face to face interview was almost 3 weeks since the initial face to face interview. I promptly sent a thank you email to all those present following this second interview. One week later I had not heard back from anyone. Two weeks later I send a second email and make a call but no answer and I left a voicemail expressing my continued interest. So three weeks go by since second interview where I was told I would hear back from someone if I was accepted or declined the position. NOTHING! Never heard back from anyone!
It was pleasant at first but once they learned i didnt speak english, even thought it wasnt required, they moved to try and disqualify me. Was not a nice experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to overcome an obstacle.
The interview process was very long from initial interview to onboarding. It wasn’t anyone’s fault, just very corporate and loots of hoops to get through. The people are nice and want to help as much as possible.
"Complete an online application, watch a video, and answer the related questions. Participate in two HR phone interviews, followed by video interviews with two managers and one with the director."
