It was a three interview process where they asked about my work ethic and values and skill level with certain IT related items. It was a slightly long process but very thorough.

I applied and was soon contacted by someone who works for the company to schedule a video interview with a third party consultant. The only mention was this person was that he was a hiring manager even though he claimed he wasn't. It turns out, this person is a third party consulting company interviewing candidates than passing the notes onto the hiring managers. Very confusing interview process, I thought this person was direct with the company not some third party. Right off the bat, he begins to insult my work history and I really wanted to end the video interview right there. Dealing with the whole interview process was a nightmare and I am no longer interested in the job. If the COO or someone higher up in the company is reading this, please revamp your interview process as going third party consulting company is a huge mistake. It confuses the interview process and the candidate does not have the opportunity to speak with the direct hiring managers.
