      Instructional Designer Interview

      Jul 4, 2016
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Kitchener, ON
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at D2L (Kitchener, ON) in Apr 2016

      Interview

Four interviews, starting in March 2016. it started off as a permanent position and went increasingly less certain as the interviews progressed - First phone, then in person, then two follow-up interviews. Was contacted by senior HR rep and told that the position had been removed. This is not the first time that I've interviewed with D2L, and I have gotten to the final round on more than a few occasions - It's very hard for HR to make up their minds, and I have interviewed with D2L a few times previously. Be aware that the company changes direction and focus: In my case, I've applied a few times and have gotten deep through the interview process, passing the fit and knowledge sections, only to be turned down without any follow-up.
