I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at DPR Construction (Phoenix, AZ) in Nov 2015
Interview
It was a full day process. There was a site visit followed by round robin interviews. Multiple interviews of very short duration didn't really allow anyone to talk about work in detail. I wanted to get into my experience and projects but they were only interested in personality based questions. Some interviews were rude and not interested at all.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at DPR Construction
Interview
4 hours long interview, 4 one-on-one interviews (15 min each), group activities with other candidates, final video confession to record following up a question and a final pizza get togther.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at DPR Construction (Raleigh, NC)
Interview
Very non traditional, had to do team building exercises with people I’m directly interviewing against. Based off this I ruled out dpr as an employee I would work for. Did 5 min speed interviews with 5 groups of 3.
Relaxed and enjoyable, 5 different interviews all were not too bad. Interviewing for personality, they do not ask you any test questions. They just want to see your enthusiasm for building things.
