Datapac interview questions

The process took about 3-4 weeks total. Call with the recruiter, 45 mins interview with two people over teams and one, two hour live programming exercise conducted over teams and two reference checks. Having completed the interviews I received positive feedback and successful reference checks. After about 2 weeks, I received an email from the recruiter asking if i was still interested in the position because they will be "formulating the job offer next week". One week later, I receive an email saying that they have "re-structured" the project and the position is no longer available. Very unprofessional, complete waste of time.
