I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2018

FACE TO FACE ON 1/15
*F2F attendees please respond!* Glassdoor is completely anonymous.
Hello fellow applicants! I know a good portion of us have used Glassdoor on our preparation for this.
As far as questions and experience everything is consistent with what I found here on Glassdoor. Reading things here will make you very prepared. *One MAJOR difference*
Generally, gathering from these reviews of other attendees, at the end of the interview they break you up into 4 groups and dismiss groups 1-3 and group 4 stays behind and gets the job. Well guess what? Group 4 was the first to be dismissed! Group 4 &3 rode on a bus back to the airport and group 1&2 rode on a bus back to the airport. I met individuals from all groups at the airport just minute after and they all confirmed that nobody stayed. How is this possible? Are they really emailing people? Did anyone receive any emails? Did anyone get the job? I put no offer but I have not heard from them yet. The suspense is real!

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
tell us about a time you had to deal with a difficult coworker?
Easy but very private. You have to show you’re able to follow instruction but also navigate working as a team. It was more nerve wracking to meet everyone. Just be yourself and delta will see that you shine: that’s what matters.

Question 1
To demonstrate a task by reading the prompts in order and answering efficiently with out straying from prompt.
It goes really fast. They are super organized and efficient, you finish one thing and someone is there ready to take you to the next phase. You don't get a lot of time to really sell yourself unless you get a one on one, and even then if you vibe with your recruiter can have a lot to do with outcome. They are, however, watching you at all times. In the group activity don't take over the group. 2 people in my group really tried to show how much of a leader they were and were both trying to one-up each other as well as ignoring/disregarding anything myself and the other applicant had to say. At the end of the interview about 30 people were brought in to a room and given one on ones. I was included and the other applicant in my group that was disregarded with me was in there, but neither of the two "leaders" were.
They are super transparent about what the lifestyle is like. I really appreciated that brutal honesty, because I decided it wasn't the right time for me to pursue the lifestyle.
