I applied online. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in Jun 2022
Interview
They specifically several times tell you NOT TO post on social media or share anything for event day but I honestly wish more people had, I was thr first name called indicating I had the lowest score. If they call your name at the end tou did not make it. The people who stay behind get the job offer. They absolutely do not care if you've been a flight attendant before. In fact thay will hurt you. Someone unemployed got the job. It's not about your skills or expertise or how much you want the job. Literally dont talk about that. It's about making people LIKE you. Everything they say about the 3 groups split up and the STAR questions and cart activity is true. What they're looking for in the cart activity is your ability to get along with other and team work. What they're looking for in the mixed setting is for you to kiss up to the flight attendants and get along with them. Dont over sell yourself, dont talk about your skills and experience let them lead the conversation. They want people who are obedient, follow directions and can get along with everyone. When it comes to the questions segment asking questions that any flight attendant would already know is what they want. I am a flight attendant so I already knew everything they were talking about and had no questions which should be best but no. They want you to be LIKEABLE not smart
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
In the 1 on 1 fave to face they ask about a time you didn't get along with a coworker, what would you do if a coworker wasn't doing their job.
I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.
