      Flight Attendant Interview

The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines

      Interview

It was a long process The F2F event day is weird. It is like a fight to see who can ask the most questions and talk to the most people and be the most popular. The flight attendants interview you and also they will have someone from the talent group observing you during the Cart exercise. Speaking of that exercise it’s weird. They are looking for a leader and working in a team environment. They say it’s an honor to be there and ask you not to post to social media sites about the process. I feel like if that’s what they truly want then everyone needs to sign a NDA non disclosure agreement. I feel like people need to know what they are walking into so they are prepared to fight for a job. You will not make as much money as you think because when you break the numbers down and the amount of time you have to travel to get to work and actually on the aircraft it would break down to 12-15 an hour. You get paid to board but that’s only half of the 32 an hour. You get regular pay once the aircraft doors close. When you take that all I to consideration, travel time to get to the airport via your vehicle, parking, gas, then commuting to work it’s really not worth it or it maybe worth it for you. Training pay is 7.25 an hour for 50 hrs a week. Training is 6 weeks you also can be sent home in training if you don’t meet their expectations. What I have learned is the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence.

      Interview

I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.
