I was contacted very informally about the interview, so I was expecting a relatively friendly atmosphere. Instead, they asked off-the-wall and difficult questions. They even went so far as to ask me to write a piece of code on a sheet of paper to prove I knew a programming language (I tried my best, but I always just look up syntax as I code, rather than memorizing it). I almost felt like they were playing a prank rather than conducting an interview. They never got back to me.
