I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Discount Tire (Cleveland, TN) in Apr 2017
Interview
Easy, relaxing but, effective, most of the questions were about accomplishment and other jobs I had in the past and how much I made at those places. Interview was one on one but, also met others going in and out of the office. Overall everyone was friendly, easy to talk to and eager to meet you.

Question 1
work history, reasons why I left those places, other accomplishments. If I had previous experience in the field
I had a flat tire that I got fixed as an appt. I sparked a conversation and hit it off with the local manager, who referred me to a higher-volume store. That was my informal interview, and the second interview was about a week later. They were conversational interviews, and I answered too excitedly, I think. This is one of those companies I've always wanted to work for since I always get excited about the process and ownership of new traction. I checked in, but they never called me back. I was ghosted.
Questions about knowledge on tires and my experience, willingness to do what I needed, and what I knew. Including information about me, and how I work in a team. Very helpful and interesting.
They made me wait for like 20 minutes and i went in a room and the manager(i think) interviewed me. They just described what was it like working for discount tire.
