      Instructional Designer Interview

      Jan 10, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at EY (London, England) in Dec 2020

      Interview

Initial phone screening went well. The the interview was ok, first time interviewing remotely was a bit odd. What has really dissapointed me and left me feeling rather shocked is EYs serious lack of candidate care. Having worked in recruitment before this was paramount for the job. I've since emailed three times to request feedback but still waiting for a reply...one month later. I received an email one week after the interview which sounded like positive news and stated that the recruiter was putting me in contact with his colleague for next steps, five hours later I received the thanks but no thanks email which was an automated email. Nothing to say thanks for your time to interview, if anything it was like the email you'd receive after the initial application. All I want to know is how I can improve for my next interview but I've given up now. The lack of candidate care speaks volumes and sadly I'm disappointed to even be writing this about a company like EY.
