I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Eastman (Kingsport, TN) in May 2012
Interview
The interview came after the end of a co-op. As such, they mostly went over my co-op projects and talked about what I would want out of the company. Despite my being better qualified than most of the other co-ops, with more relevant experience and rave reviews from my supervisors, I did not receive an offer. I was passed over in favor of a female applicant, who I am entirely sure was less well qualified.
I am disappointed that the company put more emphasis on the gender of the applicant than on the skills and knowledge brought to the company.
