    Cashier Interview

    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fareway Stores (Waverly, IA) in July 2017.

    Interview

Very easy. They work with your schedule to find a good time to interview you. If you are applying for a cashier job, you will be required to take a quick math test. It is easy and if you mess up on a few it doesn't matter much. If you keep contacting them and follow up you most definitely should get the job.

I applied in-person. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Fareway Stores (Waverly, IA) in May 2011.

    Interview

They told me they would call to set up an interview time when I turned my application in, I went in several weeks later and asked about the status of my application and they told me to come in a few days later to make an interview appointment, this happened a minimum of 4 separate occasions. Once I finally got the interview set up the process was rather smooth as I sat with the manager as he asked a few questions, went over necessary legal forms, took a short math test, and set up my training schedule.
