I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Fisher Investments
Interview
I entered a job fair at my school's campus and casually began talking to one of the recruiters. I think maybe I made a good impression because she wanted me to talk to her partner. I was asked to come in for an interview the next day. The recruiter came back to my campus the next morning 30 minutes late for the interview. The interviewer seemed to be more concerned with what I had heard or knew about the company than really asking me about my skills or discussing the firm. After about 10 minutes the interview was over. Definitely felt more like I interviewed him than the other way around.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Unexpected question: Have you heard anything about the position or firm that you want to discuss?
Similar to most other interviews, very basic questions testing fit and values. Multiple rounds, but mostly wanted to learn more about you and why you wanted to work for Fisher.
It was clear and easy. The people were very friendly and they made sure to aska range of questions. There were 3 rounds I believe. The first two were more in depth to gauge character
I applied online. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Plano, TX) in May 2026
Interview
Three rounds of interviews. The first one was on zoom. Second one was on site with a tour of the property. Final was on zoom again. Final interview was definitely the most difficult. At the end of the final interview I was told the hiring managers were going to review candidates and that I would hear from them by the end of the week. I never heard from them again. Very strange. Thought after 3 rounds of interviews they would at least reach out to tell me no.
