Got a call from a recruiting coordinator setting up time for me to chat with the senior recruiter. I set aside time to chat with the senior recruiter and didn’t get far as fisher investments seems to be one of the last companies in the workplace that requires an associates degree and doesn’t except 6 years of experience as an equivalent. Please make sure your coordinators are saying that up front so no one is wasting time. Also, most other large employers understand that hands on experience is more valuable. Consider getting with the times.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Did the coordinator explain to you what this phone call would be?
It was clear and easy. The people were very friendly and they made sure to aska range of questions. There were 3 rounds I believe. The first two were more in depth to gauge character
I applied online. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Plano, TX) in May 2026
Interview
Three rounds of interviews. The first one was on zoom. Second one was on site with a tour of the property. Final was on zoom again. Final interview was definitely the most difficult. At the end of the final interview I was told the hiring managers were going to review candidates and that I would hear from them by the end of the week. I never heard from them again. Very strange. Thought after 3 rounds of interviews they would at least reach out to tell me no.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Tampa, FL) in Mar 2026
Interview
It was a 30 minute phone interview with the hiring team basically going through my resume asking questions about it as well as some behavioral questions. It was. average difficulty overall and I made to the next interview.
