I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments in Sep 2014
Interview
Absolutely, hands down, the most unprofessional company / process in the financial sector. Went through 3 "pre-screen" interviews with 3 different people. First 2 were pretty standard, basic fit questions. Interviewers were really trying to "sell" the company. 3rd one was with a hiring manager and lasted about 3 minutes. Was asked about finding the company on One Wire (finance job board) and why sales. Was hung up on through my second answer. Called back immediately to continue the phone interview and was sent to a voice mail. Incredibly unprofessional and rude. Good lord, who do these people think they are? You're a nobody in the massive world of finance and to treat people like that shows exactly what your company stands for.

Question 1
Why sales? Why Fisher and how did you hear about us?
Similar to most other interviews, very basic questions testing fit and values. Multiple rounds, but mostly wanted to learn more about you and why you wanted to work for Fisher.
It was clear and easy. The people were very friendly and they made sure to aska range of questions. There were 3 rounds I believe. The first two were more in depth to gauge character
I applied online. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Plano, TX) in May 2026
Interview
Three rounds of interviews. The first one was on zoom. Second one was on site with a tour of the property. Final was on zoom again. Final interview was definitely the most difficult. At the end of the final interview I was told the hiring managers were going to review candidates and that I would hear from them by the end of the week. I never heard from them again. Very strange. Thought after 3 rounds of interviews they would at least reach out to tell me no.
