No HR screening but directly got email for coding interview.
Coding interview started with an interviewer asking me to write a method to check if a player is eligible for purchasing cards with points, and then write another method to actually purchase cards with points. Did both, and then the asian interviewer asked to add feature to track more information for the player, and to create a Player object at the end after running out of time. Could have started with this part in the first place. Adding a feature following best practices by adding a new file to create the new object while on hackerrank was the last thing I could think of during coding interviews.
Despite being 5 days on-site role, I applied regardless as their office was closer to where I live, but it was a total waste of time. Even the recruiter did not waste theirs as there was no screening. So the recruiter is the winner here. Also, while researching noticed that most of them belong to certain similar demographic, including the interviewer and the recruiter. Not sure if there's any co-relateion there.
