Company analyze your resume and verify if your are eligible to the position.
After that, HR contacts you to start the process.
In my case, I had to do a technical test and had to talk with commercial and technical managers. After all interviews (usually by skype) company made me an offer.
After my OK, they requested some documents to do the paperwork.
The entire process took about a month.
