Had a recruiter reach out to me for an Account Executive position -- she said it seemed like my background aligned really well with what they were looking for. Met with her for 30 minutes, she questioned me for the entirety of the call, and didn't allow me to ask any questions. Then after, she emailed me a couple days later saying the team decided not to move forward. Waste of time.

Question 1
Mostly just questions about my experience - very black and white
It was long and rigorous, often feeling extremely high pressure, with not a lot of constructive criticism. There are 5 rounds and each with a role-play. It's safe to say this is not an easy interview process. I'm not sure how they do their prospecting, but I was apparently a 'great fit' for the role - didn't show that enthusiasm during our calls.
Intensive - multiple rounds led by a recruiter. Expect 2 rounds of role play, around 4 rounds total. 2 with a recruiter, one with a lead skills expert and another panel with VPs and hiring managers.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Gartner in May 2026
Interview
30 minute phone call with recruiter. Next is 1 hour with recruiter about your background, behavioral questions. Then 1 hour with LSA with questions on your background and a role play.
