I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Gartner (Fort Myers, FL) in May 2016
Interview
Very task oriented. There are a lot of reviews on here that say the interview was "very hard", but as long as you have a winning personality or some sort drive to be successful you should be good. Prepare for it because the people at the interview who didn't prepare, didn't get the job. There were a lot of people who got hired without any sales experience so just prove to them how bad you want the job and how hard you are willing to work for it. Don't over prepare for the role play because it will screw you. Don't be overly aggressive in the team exercise. They are trying to see how well you work in a group, but don't sit back and let everyone else prove their points over yours.

Question 1
Why Gartner? (Don't come up with a generic answer to this. I think they ask this as a personality trait question. They want to see your quirks and why you are different from everyone else.)
Intensive - multiple rounds led by a recruiter. Expect 2 rounds of role play, around 4 rounds total. 2 with a recruiter, one with a lead skills expert and another panel with VPs and hiring managers.

Interview
30 minute phone call with recruiter. Next is 1 hour with recruiter about your background, behavioral questions. Then 1 hour with LSA with questions on your background and a role play.
HR is very accommodating and helpful through the whole process. It can be a little confusing how they structure and and label their position but easily cleared up when talking in first rounds. They are professional and get back quickly. Overall a very positive experience.
