I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (San Diego, CA) in May 2024
Interview
Complete waste of time! I’ve never in my entire career experienced anything like this. Met with a hiring manager at the last stage and it was evident to me that her intention was to attempt to roast me in front of her college frat boy directs to make them believe that they are better than someone with a seasoned background and legitimate experience. Had I met this hiring manager earlier in the process I would have ran away as quickly as possible. She explained that she uses her background in marriage and family therapy to coach her reps- very bizarre. Company needs to rethink their hiring practices from an ethical and an EEOC standpoint. Reeks of a toxic, cultish, frat boy culture that can be seen from a mile away. Plus, there’s no actual value to sell in their “solutions”.
Interview had 3 stages. the last one with your VP, you had to roleplay. Recruitment will prepare you thoroughly for the process. With some prep it is doable. very generic,
