GitLab Field Operations Manager interview questions

It was terrible! I was extended a verbal offer and then two weeks of radio silence. Then I was told I had to interview once again because internal candidates receive preferential treatment. I retracted my application at this point because it was a big waste of time. They claim to live up to their values but not one ounce of this was ethical! The internal candidate has no management experience and is not even qualified. I wondered why I saw so many people that were hired into Gitlab as analysts becoming managers after 4 months. Beware the values bs, it’s more like a hypocritical cult.
