Interview
Long and drawn out -- at least 2 months. In-person interview was disorganized and vague. Managers I spoke with seemed uninterested, while the technicians who would be supervisors seemed unsure of what the role was intended for.

Question 1
What was a previous difficulty and how did you address it?
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gleacher & Company (New York, NY) in Feb 2013
Interview
On-campus interview. Met with analyst and director. They were very late in the recruiting process. Direct seemed very uninterested and analyst was super arrogant and gave off a vibe that he thought he was really good (cocky). Standard questions like why Gleacher and why small middle market firm instead of bulge bracket. Technicals were hard even though analyst knew that the university didn't have a finance major.
