The interview was online, with just a few questions about my background.
The issue lies in that they asked about experience in services and technologies that were not mentioned in the job posting nor by the person that contacted me from GlobalLogic initially.
Their technical area seems unaware that DevOps is a broad field and not every DevOps engineer works with the same tools, in the same projects, for the same purposes nor that many technologies are similar to the ones they're asking you about.
I am a Senior DevOps engineer, just because I didn't get to configure something because it was already well established in the projects I worked for is not an indicator of my technical abilities or seniority, yet I was discarded by this.
Not only that, but the interviewers told me "This position needs more seniority than yours"
It was incredibly offensive and disqualifying, specially because I did answer their technical questions properly.
Unfortunately this is not the first bad experience I have with GlobalLogic, and I'm unsure I'll ever want to consider their offers again.
