I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Goodwill (Columbus, GA) in Nov 2017
Interview
It was a walk threw interview to see all job functions. I was given options to either work the back or front. The lady doing the interview doesn't work in the actual store tho she worked in the career center behind the building. Which is how I got processed through.
It was very quick and easy. It was on site and very low pressure. They made it feel very comfortable. The interview lady was very nice. I ultimately turned down the job, but I did remember the process and how pleasant it was.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
To describe a time where I had to deal with difficult employee
simple, barely any questions. they didn’t ask much, first time worker and they still hired me sooo but that was 2021. It wasn’t awful but not very structured. could’ve been worse
Called me on the phone and set an in-person interview. Asked a few questions in their office, with just one manager. Interview probably lasted 30 minutes, with basic questions about my cashiering experience, why I was looking for a job, etc.
