Met with the director of Revenue Management first, and then interviewed with people that would have been working under me. They were not seasoned interviewers as they simply read questions off a sheet they had but didn't really listen to the responses. The director had more interaction.
- Can you give us an example of a time you had to make a difficult decision?

The company has set questions for the one-one interview from the director of facilities maintenance. Since I was already a supervisor at this resort, the interview process was a little bit easier. It is easier in the sense that they know my performance on my job
- tell me about your self?
- How do you handle guests that are not satisfied with your service?

It wasn't bad. It seemed normal. The staff looked easy going and happy. They appeared flexible and understanding, but once hired, it is nothing like this of any sort! I promise you.. do not fall for it.

Found position on Craigslist. Emailed resume to supervisor, got an interview a week later. Asked general questions about previous job and experience and explained what is expected of you in your role. Filled out the application after and had to do a background check and drug test. Basically said if you pass, you should be hired.
- No difficult or unexpected questions

Anonymous Employee in Carlsbad, CA
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Grand Pacific Resorts (Carlsbad, CA) in Jun 2014
It was an easy process. As long as you pass all the tests and you have an open schedule to work holidays weekends and till 9 at night you will be hired. There are a lot of test but they are simple to pass. Dress professionally for the interview and its casual once you are hired on. You don't have to have experiance to get the job however you need it to keep up with the expectations.
- Are you able to work weekends holidays with a complete open schedule?

you will come in to the hotel and then speak with someone at the front desk who will then call for the person interviewing you which is dependent on the position you apply for. You will then meet the hiring manager and go to another spot in the lobby and sit with either one or 2 managers as you get interviewed.
- why do you want to work this job?
