After passing that phase was invited to interview in person with a senior manager and partner at the university campus. However, one aspect of G&T’s interview approach could be improved. The inclusion of accountants at the same level in the interview process can sometimes be counterproductive. If an interviewee demonstrates stronger technical skills and knowledge than their peer, it may create an unintended sense of competition or discomfort. To navigate this dynamic, candidates may find it beneficial to acknowledge and appreciate the contributions of these accountants rather than inadvertently positioning themselves as a threat.
