I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2019
Interview
Two 30mins 1:1 interview, one with a manager, one with a partner. Both ask about behavioral questions. Got a call from the partner the next day that they are giving the offer. And few days later received the formal offer letter in email.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
what are some mistake you have made?and how did you respond to it?
The first round of interviews was a group interview with four people, followed by an English essay. Neither the interview questions nor the essay topic had anything to do with auditing, and the interview questions seemed to be fixed; some interviewees even knew the questions beforehand. If that's true, I think it's unfair.
The interview process at Grant Thornton typically involves multiple stages, including an initial phone screening, a behavioral interview, and a technical or case-based assessment. Candidates may also meet with managers or partners. The process emphasizes cultural fit, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities, often concluding with a final round or offer discussion
