Interview
It was an 2 in a half maybe 3 week process, but first they make you do a virtual interview on the heb website. If you are accepted there you'll get a call from the store asking for an in person interview. When you have been accepted for that, your interview review goes to the heb main headquarters where you will be accepted on more time before you are able to work.

They asked me how I would deal with situations that involved an angry customer.
Virtual interview comes first, most likely a screening interview!
The in-person interview is where they gauge your customer service attitude and ask about your availability. It is a relaxing, low-pressure interview process that still ensures the right people are hired.

How would you respond if a customer couldn't find an item on your shelf, and you noticed you were out of stock?
Three stages of interviews. One is through the phone. Second is with the department manager. Third is with the General Manager. They will call you back after each stage if you pass it.
