I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at H&M (Portland, OR) in Sep 2010
Interview
If you know people inside the company it's easier to get into a position here. First interview is your typical getting to know you, why you want to work there, telling you what it'll be like, etc. Interviewers were really nice, friendly, didn't seem like an interrogation.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What you thought of H&M first time you walked in. Didn't know what to answer (it had been messy, disarrayed, etc) but that's what they expected to hear because they know it's a busy store.

I applied online. I interviewed at H&M (Dundalk) in Mar 2026
Interview
It was lovely, very interactive. Getting to meet new people, seeing the H&M store was really nice. The supervisor was really professional and warm. First we got to know each other, then did a question and answers round with everyone, situation based, customer service based, questions to display your skills etc, talking about H&M values and then we had a group task, to come with a outfit based on the provided situation.
