I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HCA Healthcare in Jan 2015
Interview
The interview process was very positive. Everyone is very professional and friendly. The atmosphere of the whole organization was energetic. A recruiter contacted me and discussed the responsibilities and role of the position. We set up an interview time. Once I had the interview, the recruiter got back with me the same day and informed me that they would like to make an offer.
They rejected me for asking for too much money when what I asked for was within the range they posted. This leads me to believe that they want to attract qualified talent without paying them appropriately.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They didn't ask me anything because I didn't get this far.
Phone screen with corporate recruiter, interview with leadership team on-site at facility, phone interview with separate HR leader (in that order as three separate components). The process was a bit long.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at HCA Healthcare in Mar 2024
Interview
This is not an employer you want to work for. I was excited to be considered for a role but am now appalled at the lack of professionalism of the team, respect for candidates, and the recruitment process or lack thereof. I had four interviews with a total of 10-12 people. At my final interview (on site), only 2 of the 4 people showed up on time. I followed up and thanked each of them, but have been ghosted since my in-person interview a month ago. This is not a "best employer" or a team that "shows up." The nicest possible way I can say how I feel is that I'm grateful I did not receive an offer since the way employers treat candidates mirrors the way they treat employees.
