    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Harry Meyering Center (Mankato, MN) in May 2010.

    Interview

The first interview was a basic interview with the Human Resource Manager. This interview is done to explain to incoming employees the basics of the job (if they are hired). There is a short video you watch and then you talk to the Human Resource Manager about duties you would perform.

If you are selected to move on, your second interview is with the supervisor of the location you would work. You answer more questions with the supervisor, take a brief tour of the facility you would work, and have an opportunity to meet the clients/staff. Mostly, the supervisor is looking to see if you will be a good fit with the individuals served. If you refuse to talk to the clients or acknowledge them, they will not hire you for the job (they want to know you'll be able to talk to them once you are hired).

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Harry Meyering Center (Mankato, MN) in May 2008.

    Interview

You first get a call and have an interview with an HR representative and they ask what you are looking for in a job. Then you wait a few weeks and they get back to you they think you will be a good fit at a certain house with the clients there. You have a 1:1 interview at the house and meet the clients. That supervisor then reports back to HR if they want you hired. It takes a good month or 2 for all of this to happen.

    Interview Questions

    • How would you ask a client what he wants to wear if he is non-verbal.   1 Answer
