Interview
The interview was quick and to the point. I was asked general interview questions. In order to get the interview, I submitted my resume and application on line. They screen through a lot of applications. The people who get called in for an interview put buzz words on there application. The buzz words came from the position description that was online. For example, if online the description says "looking for someone with exceptional customer service skills," you would put that you have exceptional customer service skills.

The interview process was professional and well organized. The interviewer asked questions about my customer service skills, communication, experience, and ability to handle guests. I also learned more about the company culture, responsibilities, and expectations for the Guest Service Agent role.”

Interview took place in the afternoon. It was a straightforward interview process which felt more like a conversation and the interviewer was very polite. Asked various questions - a mix of competency and motivation questions.

If you're yourself, the interview is a breeze. They look for honest, outgoing, and problem-solving individuals. Reaching out is an important step of getting hired post-interview. May be difficult to get responses if there is entry level experience depending on the hotel. Reaching out is the best bet.
