I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Cambridge, MA) in Dec 2017
Interview
The whole process took about 4 weeks with Christmas/New Years in the middle. I imagine it would have been a quick 3 week process without the holidays. I applied online with a referral and was contacted quickly to set up a phone interview in the next few days. At the end of the call I was told I would be moving onto the second round, and was able to schedule that via email for the next week. The second round consisted of another phone interview, and a separate tech demo where I answered some questions and did a role playing scenario based around some tasks I had been given to do between interview rounds. Within a day or two I was told I would be moved onto round 3, which I had to schedule for two weeks later due to the holidays. The third round consisted of going into the office and meeting with three separate managers after getting a brief tour of the office.
Holiday inconveniences aside the whole process was very speedy and clear. The recruiters promptly updated me via email with everything I needed to know between rounds and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. After being told I did not get an offer I received some useful feedback informing me why, and what I might benefit from working on moving forward.
