      I interviewed at Hyatt

      Interview

Received a call to come in for an interview the next day with front management. The interview went smoothly. Mostly personal getting to know you questions and behavioural questions. He told me that someone will contact me for another interview. One week later i'm coming in for my second interview with the director of operations. This interview was more situational questions and some behavioural as well. After this interview which felt like 10 minutes not even. I met with the HR and went through another process of being interviewed. This was more chatting, getting to know me, getting to know the company and their expectations. Overall I went through 3 interviews and they were pretty basic standard interview questions. Super friendly and welcoming!! Currently waiting on reference check to go through but fingers crossed! My advice is to come in prepared for questions that will be situational! Thats what stumped me. They are focused on finding people who will be best suited for the position! Just be yourself!! ☺️

      I interviewed at Hyatt

      Interview

I started applying to work for the Hyatt back in 2020 with only two years of experience for a front desk position. Fast forward to now 2024, with nearly 6 years of front desk experience and still can't even land a basic entry level position. Submitted an application, and was automatically denied the very next day, no interview whatsoever. Apparently six years of experience isn't enough. You need a Bachelor's degree to work the front desk and check people in. Either that or the person at HR is pulling names out of hats.

Submitted an application for the front desk. Got rejected 12 hours later with no contact. Even with 6 years of experience.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Hyatt (Conroe, TX) in Nov 2023

      Interview

It was easy, just answer truthfully and say things about yourself and you’re hired. You must bring your id and other personal information about self that will identify you to the employer.
