I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at IKEA (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2012
Interview
Innterview was comfortable, usual qestions. Had to follow up with manager aggrassively to get start date etc after offer was made. Good training, felt competent when it was "show time"
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Nothing really. If youve ever worked in retail, youve been asked the same stuff.
I was interviewed by two people. They were very friendly and it was quite informal. They gave me plenty of time to ask my own questions. Overall, it was about as pleasant as an interview could be.
Round 1:
-Getting to know you type of questions
-Situation type of questions and how would you handle them
Round 2:
-Getting to know you
-Why do you want to work at ikea
-Questions for them
