For lateral,It is one day process. One technical interview and next HR round for salary discussions.
Technical round on java basic questions and previous project discussion.Interview was scenario based. Scenarios were mentioned and I was asked to specify my approach in dealing with it. Approach may vary from person to person, so there was no right or wrong specified during the interview. Overall, I was totally out of my comfort zone and was made to think on my feet while answering.

First round interview asked questions about my technology background, location and how knowledgeable I am in for this role, was fairly simple questions. Did not hear back from them after.

My interview process included three rounds: technical, managerial, and HR. Overall, it was an average yet positive experience, with a smooth and well-organized flow throughout each stage of the process.
