This was my first job in IT after i passed out from college in 2005.I had sent resume(fresher) to Infosys and was surprised to receive an email to take up the writtern test as part of the fresher recruitment drive.The test happended at a college in chennai where approx i guess some 1500-1800 ( not sure as the campus was big people every where) people could have attended.
10 probelm solving questions, and if i remember correctly i have solved around 8 . 1 was doubtful and one i dont know..On same day evening they announced the shortlisted candidates for interview, they shorlisted close to 250 i guess..Interview was on very next day in their office in chennai , there are two perons in the panel, they just asked questions from my resume (they read the resume fully)..and gave one puzle to solve.i solved the same ..and at the end of the interview i asked them questions about their traiining facilities etc..they answered and they replied if i get selected i will be notifed in 2 weeks time..
After 2-3 weeks it was good to see one day the offer letter from infosys on my inbox..and thats it.i joined them in mysore..the 3 yrs i worked in infosys turned out ot be the strong foundation for my career in IT all these yrs...
it was very hectic , consisting 3 rounds
focus on core computer science fundamentals, live coding, project deep dives, and behavioral fit. standard technical and HR questions remain highly consistent across the company's recruitment drives

explain polymorphism and diff between sql and mysql
pretty easy and depends as per domain like for me they asked easy problem solving quetion and few quastions related to my tech stack for which theyare hiring and later some devops and testing or a developer related questions based on the domain
Start with introduction and resume and one coding questions and some of technical questions based on oops, can, os and dbms
And then full depth of resume and hr questions like introduction, about family background etc
