I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Infosys (New Delhi) in Oct 2014
Interview
An aptitude test which was quite of a good level when compared to the level you think Infosys may ask on. It has some very good questions but i guess they repeat all the time. Its better if you do previous appeared questions in Infosys papers. Then one on one interview took place in which the interviewer was more interested on my personality than my skill set.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were quite not based on subjects we learned. most of them were about my personal experiences. however one question was asked C++ " Write a program to reverse a string and check whether it is the same word from back as well ? "
2 rounds of interview for Infosys first is coding round and then managerial round mostly and sometimes test is also there. Interview is not tough though but referral is important

Interview
Following the assessment test, got shortlisted for the interview phase. The session itself was very smooth; the interviewer created a supportive and comfortable environment right from the beginning. The conversation centered around my project, where I had the opportunity to detail its technical aspects, architectural choices, and the underlying motivation for building it.
Multiple rounds including face to face and aptitude depending on the role type and resume and project related questions were asked with focus on technical concepts including data structures and algorithms
