Did a phone screening with a corporate recruiter and was brought in for an office interview the following week. Was told by recruiter to be very personal and lively. Met with the two supervisors, who barely looked at my resume. I catered to what the recruiter told me and made both interviews very personal (lively, showed personality, a lot of questions, a few jokes etc) I even showed a little scrapbook of some of my professional accomplishments. I was invited to the back office to see all of the recruiters and account managers at work.. which was exactly the point I knew I wasn't getting the job and the interview was an absolute waste of time. The office literally consisted of about 20-30 All white employees. Everyone was very nice but literally not ONE ethnic face. NOT ONE LAWWD lol I can't say i was completely shocked because I know how "the game" works and I'm not complaining because luckily for me I was blessed to receive a better offer ($$$) with a different company in the area. But i did find it very surprising and a little bit concerning that a company that prides themselves on diversity would not have at least one person of another race in a fairly entry level position.
