I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (London, England) in Jan 2014
Interview
Got invited for an interview through email. There were 2 interviews, half an hour each. The questions were divided into different parts, some were designed to test your motivation while some were aimed at your leadership skills.
The questions were more technical than I had prepared for. I had expected more behavioural and situational questions rather than questions directly about the job. Overall I would say it was definiitely on the harder side of interviews.

Interview
It was pretty straightforward. The online application was followed by a HireVue, and then the offers were sent out directly after. It was only an HV screening, with no F2F interview, nor an assessment centre.
