Informal talk in Milan at their European HQ Office. Very chaotic. After 3.5 hours travelling one way, I wasn't even offered a coffee. Interview with immediate manager and her manager, round one. It seemed as though they weren't prepared at all.... not many specific questions for me to showcase my skills or job knowledge. I worked out immediate manager wasn't my type after 1.5 hours interview - too insecure and full of herself. I then had to sit through an interview with Italian HR who couldn't really speak good English and had a few set questions to ask, nothing too exciting, but they had a very sceptical stance, maybe due to the fact that they were a little out of their depth. When they asked me for my salary expectations and I gave them in CHF, they probably nearly fell off their chairs. I didn't feel as though I was put at my ease or they tried to build rapport to get the best out of me, rather it was an aggressive interview style that I really hate and find totally unnecessary.
