Interview
All Jacobs employees are hired through a staffing agency as contract hire. The interview with the department supervisor was basic, more of a get-to-know-you interview. Asked about my skills and my work history with no behavioral questions. I had to go back for a second interview to meet some key team members which was more of a way to see if personalities meshed.

Interview
Applied online and was contacted the next day to arrange an interview. The interview was with one manager. Fairly relaxed interview, where he spoke about the type of projects the company works on and asked a few competency based questions. I was told it would be a 2 stage process and the next stage would be a 2 panel interview. Two days later, I received an automated email that I had been unsuccessful. I was slightly confused why HR couldn't be bothered to contact me directly instead of sending a very impersonal automated email.
