I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Johnson Controls (Winston-Salem, NC) in Feb 2009
Interview
Interview is easy, it's just the area manager and a person that works in the area that you're interviewing for. Doesn't take long, about 10 minutes or so at the most, and there were no really "hard" questions, just general info mainly. It seems that unless something goes terribly wrong, if you get an interview you're basically hired.
